Midea InstallerSHOW Quiz Challenge — Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 15/6/2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Midea InstallerSHOW Quiz Challenge running at InstallerSHOW 2026. By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Promoter
The promoter is FG Europe Limited, 105 Piccadilly, London, W1J 7NJ.
2. Promotion name
The promotion is called the Midea InstallerSHOW Quiz Challenge. The promotion is designed to help visitors learn more about Midea products, services, installer support, rewards and the ways installers can unlock more margin when working with Midea.
3. Promotion period and location
The promotion will run during InstallerSHOW 2026 at the NEC Birmingham on Tuesday 23, Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June 2026. The promotion will operate during show opening hours, unless otherwise stated by the Promoter. Entries must be made in person at the Midea stand at InstallerSHOW 2026.
4. Eligibility
The promotion is open to UK trade visitors aged 18 or over who attend InstallerSHOW 2026. The following people are not eligible to enter: employees of FG Europe Limited; employees of companies within the same group as FG Europe Limited; agencies, suppliers or contractors directly involved in the promotion; and immediate family members of any of the above.
The Promoter may request proof of age, identity, trade status, attendance at InstallerSHOW 2026 and eligibility before awarding any prize.
5. How to enter
To enter, visitors must visit the Midea stand at InstallerSHOW 2026, scan the promotional QR code or use the touchscreen quiz entry route provided on the stand, submit the required contact details, complete the Midea quiz, and follow the on-screen instructions after completing the quiz.
No purchase is necessary to enter. Internet access, a compatible device or use of the touchscreen may be required to enter. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected or not received due to technical issues, network issues, equipment failure or any other reason outside the Promoter's reasonable control.
6. Entry limit
Only one valid entry is permitted per person per day. Multiple entries, duplicate entries, incomplete entries, automated entries, entries made using false details or entries that otherwise breach these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified.
The Promoter reserves the right to remove any entrant from the promotion where it reasonably believes that the entrant has attempted to manipulate the promotion, submit multiple entries unfairly, abuse staff, damage equipment, interfere with the quiz process or act in a way that is unfair to other entrants.
7. Quiz format
Entrants will be asked to answer five Midea-related quiz questions. The questions may relate to Midea products, support, installer benefits, technical features, warranty, service rewards, spares, training or other Midea messages displayed or explained on the stand. The quiz is intended to reward visitors who have taken time to learn about the Midea offer at InstallerSHOW 2026.
8. Instant win prizes
Entrants who achieve the required score may be given the opportunity to win an instant prize. The instant win mechanic may include a prize wheel, digital wheel or another mechanic selected by the Promoter. Instant win prizes are subject to availability and may vary during the promotion.
Instant win prizes may include, but are not limited to, Midea-branded items, footballs, product-related giveaways, promotional gifts or other prizes made available by the Promoter. The Promoter does not guarantee that every entrant will win an instant prize. Instant win prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
9. Qualifying for the main prize draw
Entrants who correctly answer all five quiz questions may be given the opportunity to qualify for the relevant daily main prize draw. The qualification mechanic may include a qualifying wheel, digital wheel or another mechanic selected by the Promoter.
Correctly answering all five questions does not automatically guarantee entry into the daily main prize draw unless the on-screen instructions or stand team confirm that the entrant has qualified. The Promoter may limit the number of qualifiers for each daily main prize draw. If the daily qualifier allocation is reached, no further entries may be accepted into that day's main prize draw, even where an entrant answers all five questions correctly.
The Promoter may, at its discretion, allow qualifying entries to be carried into a later draw or offer an alternative mechanic where operationally necessary. This will be clearly communicated on the stand where applicable.
10. Main prize
The main prize is the winner's choice of either £5,000 cash, or a two-year van lease, subject to availability, eligibility and lease provider requirements. Only one main prize option may be selected by the winner. The cash prize will be paid by bank transfer to a UK bank account in the winner's name.
The van lease prize is subject to additional checks and requirements, which may include a valid UK driving licence, proof of identity, proof of address, insurance eligibility, credit, compliance or lease provider checks, acceptance of the lease provider's terms, vehicle availability, and any reasonable delivery or handover requirements.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by the Promoter, the van lease prize does not include insurance, fuel or charging costs, road tolls, parking charges, fines or penalties, damage charges, excess mileage charges, maintenance outside the lease agreement, personal tax liabilities, or any other personal running costs.
The van shown in promotional materials is for illustrative purposes only. The exact vehicle, specification, colour, branding and availability may vary. If the van lease cannot be provided for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may offer the £5,000 cash prize instead.
11. Daily main prize draw
The Promoter intends to run a main prize draw on each day of InstallerSHOW 2026, subject to valid qualifying entries and operational requirements. The daily main prize draw will take place at or around the time advertised on the Midea stand. Entrants must be present at the Midea stand or contactable at the time of the draw, unless the Promoter confirms otherwise.
Finalists or winners may be selected from valid qualifying entries by a random process, a verifiably random digital process, or under the supervision of an independent person. The Promoter may require finalists to take part in a final question, final challenge or live draw mechanic to determine the daily winner. Where a final question or challenge is used, the Promoter's decision on the correct answer, result and winner will be final. If more than one finalist remains eligible after any final question or challenge, the winner may be selected at random from those finalists.
12. Winner notification
Winners will be notified in person at the Midea stand where possible. If a winner is not present, cannot be contacted, does not respond within a reasonable time, fails eligibility checks, declines the prize or is unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact a winner using the contact details provided at entry. It is the entrant's responsibility to provide accurate contact details.
13. Prize delivery
Instant win prizes should usually be collected from the Midea stand during InstallerSHOW 2026. The £5,000 cash prize will be paid within a reasonable period after the winner has completed all verification checks and provided the required payment details. The van lease prize will be arranged after the winner has completed all verification checks and any lease provider requirements.
The Promoter is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, failed eligibility checks, lease provider requirements, vehicle availability, third-party delays or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
14. Publicity
The Promoter may ask winners to take part in reasonable publicity connected with the promotion. This may include photography, filming, social media posts, website content, trade press, internal communications or other promotional activity. Winners may object to publicity where they have a legal right to do so.
The Promoter may publish or make available information showing that a valid award took place, such as the surname and county of major prize winners, unless a winner objects for legitimate reasons.
15. Data protection and marketing
The Promoter will collect and use personal data for the purpose of administering the promotion, managing entries, contacting winners, verifying eligibility, awarding prizes and handling any related enquiries. Personal data collected may include name, company name, job role, email address, telephone number and any other information reasonably required to administer the promotion.
Where entrants have agreed to receive marketing communications, or where the Promoter has another lawful basis to do so, the Promoter may use the entrant's details to send relevant Midea product, service, installer support or promotional information. Entrants can opt out of marketing communications at any time. Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy.

16. Accuracy of information
The Promoter reserves the right to verify any information submitted as part of the promotion. Entries containing false, misleading, incomplete or inaccurate information may be disqualified. The Promoter is not responsible where an entrant is unable to receive prize communications because they provided incorrect contact details or because messages were blocked, filtered or not received.
17. Changes to the promotion
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend or withdraw the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances outside its reasonable control. This may include technical issues, safety concerns, venue restrictions, event changes, supplier issues, prize availability, suspected fraud, operational issues or any other circumstance that affects the fair or proper running of the promotion. Where changes are made, the Promoter will aim to minimise disappointment and maintain fairness for entrants.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to the above, the Promoter will not be responsible for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance of a prize, except where caused by the Promoter's negligence or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Entrants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, subsistence, insurance and other costs connected with attending InstallerSHOW 2026, unless expressly stated otherwise.
19. Tax
The winner is responsible for any personal tax consequences that may arise from accepting a prize. The Promoter is not responsible for providing tax advice. Winners should seek independent advice if they are unsure about the tax treatment of any prize.
20. General
The Promoter's decision is final in relation to the promotion. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome, except where required by law. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold, exchanged or substituted by the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value where necessary.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
